Benard Kairu holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from The University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from The Kenya School of Law in Nairobi. He has been certified as a Data Protection officer and has received training from Strathmore University’s Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology (CIPIT). He is also a Copyright practitioner having completed the Copyright X program offered by Harvard Law School under Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society.

Benard’s main areas of interest are Commercial transactions, Data Protection, Conveyancing and Land Law Practice, Intellectual Property, Labour law disputes Corporate Law practice, Succession and Estate Planning. He is also a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Data Privacy & Governance Society of Kenya.
